The Elizabethan Time Travel Series
Arthur & Catherine
The year 1945 breaks Catherine Hastings' heart when her fiancé, Dr. Jonathan Brandon, vanishes without a trace. Two years later, on November 20, 1947, she is surrounded by joy instead of sorrow. While crowds gather for the marriage of Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten, Catherine’s own love story is rewritten when she meets Arthur Bertrand Howard. In turn, Arthur is smitten with the beautiful Catherine. Yet, behind her sparkling green eyes, he discerns a haunted look―the look of someone who's known loss. Does she still grieve for her missing fiancé? Arthur must find answers to the mystery surrounding the man Catherine intended to marry. What he discovers is a truth far stranger than fiction.
Elizabeth I
Queen Elizabeth I was a force of nature―and history―so much so, she gave name to an age. But who was she, really? Historians have no way of knowing her innermost thoughts and desires, because she left no diary or secret letters, with the exception of one telling note from Robert Dudley, kept by her bedside until the day she died. That being said, her long life was, for the most part, discernable and consequential. And yet, her story might have ended a mere two years into her reign, for in 1560, Elizabeth is snatched from the brink of death by a mysterious stranger named Anne Howard. The grateful Elizabeth needs to discover more about Anne, so she tasks a court physician, Dr. Jonathan Brandon, to uncover the secrets of this miracle worker. In doing so, she sets off a chain of events that will irrevocably alter Anne and Brandon’s fate, as well as her own.
Robert Dudley
Named Master of the Horse immediately upon Elizabeth's accession to the throne, Robert Dudley holds a special place in the queen's heart. Sworn to protect her body and soul, he is instumental in saving her life by rescuing the only person in the world who has the surgical expertise to treat her―Dr. Jonathan Brandon. Until the day he dies, Dudley remains devoted to Elizabeth. Their intense, lifelong bond is best evidenced by her keeping his final letter, written before his death in 1588, in her private treasure box until her own passing.
